Live demonstration of ePCT WIPO’s online system for filing and managing PCT Applications

With the decommissioning of the eOLF system, PCT applications with the UK as a receiving office must be made via ePCT from 1 January 2026.

WIPO is delivering two one-hour webinars to CIPA members on using the system. This life demonstration of the system follows on from the introduction to ePCT system broadcast on Tuesday 16 December.

This webinar will cover:

  • ePCT-Filing with RO/GB
  • File View (ePCT Message, Publication date, Timeline …)
  • Upload post-filing documents to RO/GB, IB and ISA/EP
  • Access rights management (Access rights groups)
  • ePCT General features (Workbench, ePCT Notifications, Office Profile…)

Pascal Piriou, WIPO

Pascal Piriou is a Senior Customer Service Assistant in the PCT International User Outreach and Support Section at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva where he has worked since 1996. Pascal was a formality examiner of PCT applications until 2013 when he joined the Customer Support team. Pascal now mainly provides support to applicants and Offices worldwide on ePCT, WIPO DAS (Digital Access Service). Pascal also trains colleagues in the PCT Operations teams and external users on ePCT from creating a WIPO Account to filing an application and managing it until the end of the international phase. Pascal has been involved in the ePCT development and testing from the beginning, becoming a true ePCT expert.
