We have been instructed on a superb offering from a top tier IP practice who are growing their formidable team and now require a highly skilled Pharma Patent Attorney to join the team.

The Role

This unmissable expansion opportunity with a stellar team, aside from the pharma /life sciences patent work, will have a weighty focus on speciality pharma work, an area that this firm are hugely successful in and significantly growing. 

You’ll work collaboratively with prosecution attorneys and litigation lawyers, as well as partners and associates providing sophisticated IP expertise supporting an impressive client pool from those operating on a global scale to start ups.  Day to day you’ll handle both strategic and routine patent work across the patent life cycle.

About You

Ideally, you’ll have knowledge of the speciality pharma space with a focus on SPCs, PTEs, patent regularity and broader regularity listings whilst being commercially savvy and strategically sound. 

The requirement within this team is to welcome a passionate and experienced senior patent attorney who can make a positive impact. 

Skills You Need

• Good understanding of EU law changes concerning regulatory exclusivity and patent-regulatory linkage systems outside Europe
• Ability to provide clear, strategic advice on complex exclusivity situations with commercial insight
• Background in biotech and/or chemistry, with the flexibility to handle either small molecule drugs or biologics
• Experience in handling regular patent prosecution work within pharma/life sciences sectors
• Excellent communication skills, with a client-focused approach and strong organisational capabilities
• Proactive attitude towards client relationship management and business development
