Birmingham once again sparkled with excitement and pride on 18 September, as professionals gathered to celebrate the remarkable contributions of this year’s brightest paralegal talents at the National Paralegal Awards 2025 organised by CILEX.
Congratulations go to our CIPA Paralegal Committee Chair, Annemarie Parsons (Murgitroyd), who scooped the individual award for Best IP Paralegal and to Rachel Collier (Mewburn Ellis) who was awarded a Highly Commended in the same category.
Also, congratulations to our CIPA Paralegal Committee member Jo-Anna Emery for being presented the award for Best In-House paralegal. Not a mean feat given the competition from professionals across both IP and general legal sectors. And further congratulations to Murgitroyd for the award for Best Law Firm for Paralegal Development in the business category.
These accolades represent much more than professional recognition, they showcase the commitment, specialised knowledge, and excellence that IP paralegals demonstrate daily, helping to elevate industry standards and advance the profession. The growing recognition of IP paralegals reflects their invaluable specialised expertise and the significant contributions they make to both their employers and clients.
The celebratory evening proved truly memorable, meeting inspiring people, reconnecting with colleagues, incredible food, entertainment, and of course, enthusiastic dancing!
