With the support of the Professional Development Working Group, we successfully delivered 43 webinars in 2025, covering a wide range of topics including designs, the UPC, artificial intelligence, regulation and international patents.
Whilst the total number of webinars delivered in 2025 was broadly consistent with the previous year (44 webinars in 2024), engagement increased. Overall attendance across the year totalled 9,455, equating to an average attendance of approximately 220 delegates per webinar. This represents an increase on 2024, which saw 8,452 attendees across 44 webinars, with an average of around 192 delegates per session.
We are particularly pleased to highlight the continued focus on paralegal training. In 2025, we delivered 10 webinars specifically targeted at paralegals, building on the increased provision seen in 2024 and reinforcing our commitment to supporting this key audience.
CIPA’s webinars continue to serve as a vital resource for both members and non-members across the profession, offering high-quality training and insight. For those unable to attend live sessions, recordings of all webinars remain available via the CIPA website, ensuring ongoing access to these valuable resources.
